Marco was so patient with us! And so knowledgeable to answer all our questions about ingredients and techniques. The cost was entirely reasonable--and Marco did the clean up. Should we have opportunity to return to Italy, we will most definitely ask him again!

					  We spent the better part of a day traveling from  Stresa to Marco's kitchen for an interesting and fun cooking experience.  We are two couples approaching our eighth... read more decade.  Marco is very personable and welcoming.  Also met his family in their lovely home and surroundings.  It is literally being in the middle of the woods.  He suggested a menu based on our tastes and everything was ready to be prepared when we arrived.   We made pasta and sauce along with veal rollups stuffed with ham, sage and cheese.  Simmered in an additional tomato ragu.  The highlight was the chocolate torte with homemade toffee and a chocolate ganache.  And he also provided copies of the recipes.  Highly recommend!

					  Being somewhat disorganized my wife and I only booked a cooking class with Marco 36 hours in advance but even then he e-mailed us to ask what we would like... read more to cook (Pasta or risotto, meat or fish, cake or spoon desert) and he had everything ready.

It was poring with rain that day and we had some difficulty finding the house but after one phone call to him and his neighbor pointing us in the right direction we made it to his delightful art-filled house in the woods.

It turned out that we were the only ones there that day which allowed us lots of time to chat. He explains everything and sends the recipes by e-mail making it very easy to replicate what he demonstrates.

We had a delightful three course lunch of the food we had cooked and all this at a cost only slightly above what we would have paid for a similar meal in a restaurant.

Highly recommended.

					  Venez comme vous êtes et laissez vous aller à la découverte, le lieu est superbe, au calme, entouré de bois. Vous êtes le cuisinier et l invité à la fois,... read more on a le temps  d'apprécier chaque étape, de la cuisine à la dégustation , une belle table dressée dans les bois par l'épouse de Marco. Nous nous sommes très vite sentis à l aise. Marco se soucie de vos allergies et préférences, les produits sont frais, sélectionnés, et nous avons préparé un delicieux risotto , un osso bucco, un dessert, le tout accompagné d'un bon vin Italien. Marco parle très bien Français et nous avons pu échanger agréablement. 

Une excellente journée !

Ha anche gentilmente risposto a molte nostre... read more curiosità culinarie. Inutile dire che il menù si è poi rivelato anche buonissimo. Il posto non è immediatamente riconoscibile ma con le indicazioni di Marco non abbiamo avuto grandi problemi ad arrivare.

Consiglio l'esperienza, soprattutto se avrete l'opportunità di usufruire del bosco (nel mio caso pioveva).

Chef Marco hit it out of the park! He was wonderful and easy to communicate with to arrange a custom menu and arrange the details. He then came to our villa and cooked and prepared a stunning 4 course meal that had us all so full and so impressed. We are still in awe of his amazing gnocchi and out of this world tiramisu. If in the Como area taking a class or enjoying a meal prepared with Chef Marco is a MUST!

					  We celebrated my 35th birthday in Colico with two experiences we'll never forget. Chef Marco hosted a private cooking class where we made panzanella, fresh pasta with butter sage, and... read more a chocolate bonet for dessert. He was patient, fun, and taught us so much about Italian food history.

The next night, Chef Roberto prepared an incredible multi-course dinner. We started with bruschette and impepata di cozze (mussels with garlic, parsley & black pepper), then enjoyed pizzoccheri and risotto with radicchio & sausage. For mains, we had melanzane alla parmigiana and sea bass baked Mediterranean-style, finishing with torta della nonna and panna cotta with berries. Every dish was bursting with flavor, made with fresh ingredients and so much passion.

The kitchen was left spotless afterwards, with plenty of leftovers for the next day. Truly the highlight of our trip--highly recommend booking with both chefs!
