And so knowledgeable to answer all our questions about ingredients and techniques. The cost was entirely reasonable--and Marco did the clean up. Should we have opportunity to return to Italy, we will most definitely ask him again!

					  This was our first cooking class and we didn’t know what to expect being a family of five from the USA.   We have two boys ages 11 and... read more 8 and a five year old daughter.  So we were a little nervous.  Would the kids get bored?  Would our current cooking skills be enough to follow along?  Would the chef’s English be good enough to understand?

Chef Marco did a great job putting us at ease and explaining the process In a way that was not intimidating.  Two days before he contacted us to make a menu that suited us.  We chose three items from 10-12 that he was suggesting so it felt tailored to us.  We chose ravioli with spinach ricotta, swordfish, and a chocolate spoon dessert.  When we arrived at his house in the forest he gave us a quick tour and we had a coffee to get to know each other.  Next he brought out five aprons and we started making the dough.  At this point we were completely relaxed and having a great time kneading dough.

The whole experience lasted around five hours which at first I thought would be too long for the children but it went fast and they were never bored.

We highly recommend and would consider doing this in a larger family group with grandparents as well.  Thanks for a great time Chef Marco.

We had no idea that we'd have a culinary adventure with Marco.... read more From the moment we arrived to his kitchen, we felt at home in learning about the cuisine from someone who so clearly is passionate about his craft. We leveraged in-season products making fresh pasta + zucchini, veal/pancetta/cheese/sage and a fresh pana cotta with a blueberry glaze. It was simply a tremendous evening!

Chef Marco hit it out of the park! He was wonderful and easy to communicate with to arrange a custom menu and arrange the details. He then came to our villa and cooked and prepared a stunning 4 course meal that had us all so full and so impressed. We are still in awe of his amazing gnocchi and out of this world tiramisu. If in the Como area taking a class or enjoying a meal prepared with Chef Marco is a MUST!
